Originally from Massachusetts, Aimee left the cold weather behind for the sunny hills of UCLA. After graduating, she couldn’t bring herself to leave. Somewhere between acquiring a sushi addiction and buying a Vespa, West LA quickly became home. When she’s not working, Aimee can be found trying a new restaurant, practicing hot yoga, or attending a stand-up comedy show.
Ariel is originally from the the East Coast but fell in love with the city of Chicago. She is obsessed with her Pug, Bruce Wayne, who snores loudly. She loves to travel, top 40 music, and people with quick wit.
A Paris, France native, he recently made the big move to California after spending a few years in Canada. Pretending he became a surfer to his friends and family, he wishes there were no sharks in the ocean. When he’s not playing soccer or working out you can find him anywhere there is cheese and wine.
Fun, Funny, Enthusiastic, Adventurer, Dinner Maker, Sports Taker, Car Lover, Dad are all ways Brendan's 2 year old son refers to his father. Proud & Creative Detroiter who can be found shooting way too much foodporn and enjoying too many sunsets. Did we mention he has a 150lb dog named, Bronco? As you can see he has a thing about the Motor City. #GoBlue
Born and bred on Long Island. Escaped the fist pumping haven making it all the way to trendy Brooklyn, where I pretend to be a lot cooler than I actually am. This summer you can probably find me at Brooklyn Crab in Red Hook, Smorgasburg, a Mets game, or any pier/rooftop bar that encourages day drinking (weekends only of course).
Cameron is an LA native who grew up with 2 brothers. He loves coding, tennis, music production, and most films with Leonardo Dicaprio in them. When not working, Cameron enjoys long walks on the beach and scented candles, especially the vanilla ones. He is currently father to a pup named Rocky.
Australian-born and Midwest-raised, Char is a self-proclaimed “crazy plant lady” who’s constantly expanding the overwhelming succulent collection on her patio while simultaneously being judged by neighbors. A huge fan of the outdoors, Char’s all about fun in the sun as long as she’s liberally covered in SPF 50. On the weekends you’ll find her whipping up Blue Apron recipes and spending an unreasonable amount of money on her dog, Gunther.
Claire is an LA native who’s always on the hunt for the perfect photoshoot location. She classifies herself as both indoorsy and outdoorsy. When she’s not in the office you'll likely find her exploring a national park, swing dancing, at a themed party, or falling in love with a fictional character.
This proud native Canadian has lived coast to coast, including Santa Monica, SF, and NYC. During the recent and 3rd move to the east coast, she and her husband returned with two kiddies in tow. She loves wandering through farmers markets, going by the ocean to watch the waves crash into the shore, and swimming!
Evelyn is a passionate music lover and performer, with Spotify playlists ranging from Beethoven to Beyoncé. A native of the San Francisco Bay Area and a current resident of Los Angeles, she considers herself a connoisseur of well-wrapped burritos, great-tasting tap water, and perfect California weather. You are likely to find Evelyn perfecting her winged eyeliner and subsequently ruining it by crying over fuzzy baby animals.
When he's not incessantly pounding out code on his keyboard, you can find Gabe sailing around the Santa Monica Bay, playing acoustic guitar or tending his vegetable garden. He's originally from Texas (Hook 'em Horns!) but has called Los Angeles home for 14 years.
Gabe's first love is Los Angeles, where she feels lucky to have been born and raised. She frequently eats breakfast for dinner and her idea of an outdoor activity is brunch on a patio. When this Eastside dweller isn't busy exploring the city, you can usually find her covered in croissant crumbs at the barre.
Hana is a rare Los Angeles native, who’s #1 goal is to visit all 7 continents (3 to go!) She’s constantly conflicted between identifying as a Hufflepuff or Ravenclaw, was one of the few people who thought the ending of LOST was beautiful, and can often be heard obsessing over her latest favorite typeface.
Hope is a West Coast girl at heart. Born in Newport Beach, Hope grew up in Portland, OR, went to college in San Francisco and has finally landed in Santa Monica. While not known for enjoying sweets, she can be found baking up a storm in her free time. Instead, she absolutely loves spicy food and puts Sriracha on everything, and we mean everything!
Jack, a California native, hasn’t cut his hair in years for reasons unknown to him. He enjoys writing and filming comedy sketches, basketball, going to country music festivals, and using his unexpectedly decent rhythm to turn heads. While you might not find him at your local hot yoga class, you might see him sprinting by you holding a surfboard pretending like he’s about to hit the waves.
Jinny hails from the south but took a detour lured by the bright city lights of NYC before the Northeast winters and Hurricane Sandy drove her to LA. When not at work, she is busy planning her hot sauce empire and finishing that short story she started several years ago (just can’t seem to nail the ending).
Born and raised in New York, Kelsey loves to call the big apple home. She is a proud new mother, to a beautiful Golden Retriever, Simba. Taking on a new role of “momager” you can find Simba featured on The Dogist three times, and aspires to be part of WAGSociety. When not playing (or talking) about Simba, you can find Kelsey at the gym, traveling or roaming the streets of NYC looking for the best new shops.
Kerry has been calling West LA home for 6 years now. She grew up Irish dancing and dominated the Three Hand Reel in competitions with her sisters. As an identical triplet, she and her sisters tend to walk in unison so dancing together was never difficult. In her spare time, she can be found running along the beach in preparation for her next half marathon.
Kyla is an avid Nebraska Cornhusker fan who is admittedly intolerable before her first triple latte of the morning. She tries to balance out her pack-a-day Famous Amos habit with semi-regular Pilates classes, and can be found perusing "Cute Animal" Pinterest boards well into the night.
Laureen, a SoCal native, has never resided anywhere else where it’s not sunny year round. While she would like to not be so dependent on coffee, she has had an ongoing “I’ll just quit tomorrow” mentality for the past few years now. She absolutely adores dogs and aspires to adopt a puppy one day!
Hailing from a tiny mountain town at the top of California, Linnea is equally at home as far out into nature as she can get as she is curled up on her couch, aggressively binge watching way too much TV. When she isn’t eating her weight in pasta, she can be found vlogging on her Youtube channel, Instagramming your dog, belting show tunes, or trying to find the nearest Ren Faire.
Like a true Jersey girl, Meghan loves Italian food and has a special place in her heart for the shore. After calling ‘gorges’ Ithaca her home for 4 years, she packed up her bags and moved across the country so she could eat amazing sushi on a beach. Meghan's life motto: Anything can be accomplished with several cups of coffee, chocolate, and a fabulous pair of shoes.
Meisha is from Sydney, Australia and recently moved to LA from New York where she spent the last five years. She was drawn to LA's beaches, active lifestyle and gluten-free donuts.
Melissa moved to Los Angeles from the foggy city of San Francisco. She's a big fan of comedy and can often be found at a stand-up show, reading a comedian's autobiography, or trying to become Amy Poehler's best friend. When she's not geeking out over comedy, you can find Melissa trying out a new restaurant, testing out a new recipe, or anything else that has to do with food.
East coast born and west coast bred, Mike is most likely to be found dining out, telling lame jokes or finishing a family sized package of cookies on his own. He’s terrible at yoga and probably talks about Beyoncé too much, but he will always share his gummi bears.
Morgan thinks it is pretty cool she is the second triplet in the office! After living in 6 states she considers herself an LA girl who enjoys going to the farmers market and climbing the Culver City Stairs. As a vegetarian who doesn’t like fruits and veggies much, you can find her eating burritos (with guac) and anything chocolate!
Ran's greatest personal struggle in life is trying not to get a pants size bigger. She brings two lunches to work and her desk always has a pile of snack wrappers, tea bags, and tupperware. Her favorite animals are giraffes and she has played almost every single Pokemon game to date.
Rebecca's passion for entertainment & film brought her to Los Angeles 10 years ago, and she quickly fell in love with the city's diverse culture. She's inspired by genuine stories of our shared human experience, and this inspiration fuels her love of marketing, advertising, events, & branding.
Rebecca is an avid lover of all things BBQ. A native Bostonian, she and her husband named their dog Ortiz after beloved Red Sox player, David. When she is not training Ortiz silly pet tricks, you can find Rebecca playing basketball, finding a new Pilates gym, or trying not to fail at growing vegetables in her new garden.
Rose is still waiting for the nutritional study to come out proving that it is possible to live off sugar and chocolate alone, but she’s sure it will come. She’s been playing ice hockey for the last few years, and the pinnacle of her career thus far is several assists and a too many men on the ice penalty. A recent LA transplant, she's a NJ native, roots for Cornell in all relevant sports, and usually knows where her towel is.
Scott is Texas born and bred yet even this Longhorn couldn't resist the lure of the Cali lifestyle. When he's not out and about on the Westside, you will most likely find Scott indulging in his love of live music, cheering on his Longhorns, or getting some R&R on his couch eating delivery food and promising himself he will start working out tomorrow.
Shawn is a native New Yorker who moved to California three years ago to chase the perfect tan and bowl of poke. A published author at the age of 19, Shawn has gone on to write for VICE, The Huffington Post, and GQ. He's passionate about hummus, TV shows, and avoiding people who use the phrase "hump day" on Wednesdays.
Born and raised in Wisconsin, Summer moved to Los Angeles seeking a life where socks weren't a prerequisite. A recovering endurance athlete, she enjoys a good workout but relishes having time for friends, reading, and living room dancing. She regularly indulges her love of kombucha and newsie nerd crush on John Oliver.
Tori is brand new to LA and still getting used to parallel parking. She loves live music, barbeque ribs, minimalism, and being caught up in a really good book. Tori is excited about the prospect of alien life and is waiting for the day they contact us, but will keep on trying out new ways to organize her closet “for fun” here on earth until then.
Trish relocated to LA from the Midwest in pursuit of her lifelong goal of appearing on Jeopardy. When she's not crunching numbers you can find her playing amateur bartender, chef, and photographer. She enjoys reading and trying to win her coworkers' love with baked goods.
Vicki is a native Californian and a proud USC alumna. She has an unhealthy obsession with avocados, blue nail polish and Harry Potter. When not at the office, you can usually find her at a yoga studio or a music festival.
Kevin is a French Bulldog serving as HelloSociety's unofficial head of HR. His hobbies include breathing loudly, doing high-intensity interval training workouts in the office several times a day, and working towards his elusive dream of fitting a full-size tennis ball in his mouth. You can find him supervising anyone using the microwave at lunchtime.
