HelloSociety is a diverse team in many ways, but we share a genuine passion for all things Pinterest. We love what we do, and where we work - you can find us in a sunny Santa Monica office just blocks from the beach, blasting tunes and eating more M&M's than any of our mothers would approve of.
Kyla is an avid Nebraska Cornhusker fan who is admittedly intolerable before her first triple latte of the morning. She tries to balance out her pack-a-day Famous Amos habit with semi-regular Pilates classes, and can be found perusing "Cute Animal" Pinterest boards well into the night.
Peter came to Los Angeles from Chicago (via San Francisco, Budapest, and Boston) where his big Greek family roasts lambs and pigs on a spit every year. He wakes up at 5AM on Sundays to watch Formula One Racing and divides the year into 2 seasons: skiing and other.
When he's not incessantly pounding out code on his keyboard, you can find Gabe sailing around the Santa Monica Bay, playing acoustic guitar or tending his vegetable garden. He's originally from Texas (Hook 'em Horns!) but has called Los Angeles home for 14 years.
Dennis loves fried chicken and fast food. When he's not on the road traveling, you can find him in the Southbay spending time with his family and friends and coaching any sports team for his boys. Dennis is a Princeton Tiger, a New York native, and tries to fight obesity by endless laps in the pool.
Chloe loves Skittles (but not the green ones), dive bar karaoke, dessert before dinner, and all things sparkly. She is a closet Run-DMC fan, and openly a cookie monster. You can find her sipping on an absurd amount of green tea and busting out mad dance moves around the office.
Cora moved here from a small town in upstate NY, where there are more cows than traffic lights. She is loving LA and getting to skip over winter. When she's not brainstorming for a new campaign, she can be found singing and playing her guitar, hiking the nearest trail, and feeding the stray cats that congregate outside her door.
Dan has an obsessive passion for building and creating value for the world in any way he can. When he's not at his desk working (not breaking) the Internet, he will be found in one of two places: a pretentious coffee shop or a CrossFit gym.
Derek is a California native originally from the San Francisco Bay Area who couldn't leave the Southern California weather after attending UC Irvine. You can find Derek reducing the office's collective carbon footprint either biking around Santa Monica or driving his turbo Prius.
Helen is a New Yorker by way of Ohio, France, and California. She is happiest when her twin passions: being near the ocean & shopping at Bergdorf’s are within walking distance. (Even if it’s a really far walk). She is an avid bookworm & absolutely loves chatting plots, storylines, & character development, (particularly within the historical fiction & sci-fi genres) with other friendly bookworms.
Hope is a West Coast girl at heart. Born in Newport Beach, Hope grew up in Portland, OR, went to college in San Francisco and has finally landed in Santa Monica. While not known for enjoying sweets, she can be found baking up a storm in her free time. Instead, she absolutely loves spicy food and puts Sriracha on everything, and we mean everything!
Born and raised in LA (no, seriously), you can find Jacki basking in the sun on the weekends and enjoying her space heater during the work week. She loves over-eating, online shopping, reality TV, & impromptu dance parties. If you really want to win her over, spark up a conversation about handbags or Jay-Z lyrics.
Jenaca hails from Seattle, so she’s probably the only one who looks forward to LA’s June gloom. When she’s out of the office, you can typically find her cooking up her latest Pinterest discovery with a glass of Pinot in hand. She offsets her trial-and-error cooking habits with long walks on the beach, skiing, and the occasional trip to the yoga studio.
Kerry has been calling West LA home for 6 years now. She grew up Irish dancing and dominated the Three Hand Reel in competitions with her sisters. As an identical triplet, she and her sisters tend to walk in unison so dancing together was never difficult. In her spare time, she can be found running along the beach in preparation for her next half marathon.
Kristen can be found singing (poorly) out loud to any song playing, canoodling with her dog, Stella, cooking and eating too much Italian food, and telling exaggerated anecdotes over drinks. She loves concerts, USC Football (Fight On!), family, anything Christmas, and has a soft spot for all things animal.
Originally from San Diego, Lisa enjoys the so cal life of beaching, yoga, dodgeball, and dancing. She is an SDSU Aztec and rocks out to the 90's boy bands and girly pop stars with a passion for Disney karaoke. Can semi-freestyle sing and rap when there's a crowd and loves bacon burgers and fried chicken.
Morgan thinks it is pretty cool she is the second triplet in the office! After living in 6 states she considers herself an LA girl who enjoys going to the farmers market and climbing the Culver City Stairs. As a vegetarian who doesn’t like fruits and veggies much, you can find her eating burritos (with guac) and anything chocolate!
Noelia is fond of calling people dah-ling, owns a very well-groomed Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Brando, and is best known for wearing six-inch heels that still, sadly enough, really only brings her to shoulder height of everyone else in the office.
Ran's greatest personal struggle in life is trying not to get a pants size bigger. She brings two lunches to work and her desk always has a pile of snack wrappers, tea bags, and tupperware. Her favorite animals are giraffes and she has played almost every single Pokemon game to date.
Rebecca is an avid lover of all things BBQ. A native Bostonian, she and her husband named their dog Ortiz after beloved Red Sox player, David. When she is not training Ortiz silly pet tricks, you can find Rebecca playing basketball, finding a new Pilates gym, or trying not to fail at growing vegetables in her new garden.
Rose is still waiting for the nutritional study to come out proving that it is possible to live off sugar and chocolate alone, but she’s sure it will come. She’s been playing ice hockey for the last few years, and the pinnacle of her career thus far is several assists and a too many men on the ice penalty. A recent LA transplant, she's a NJ native, roots for Cornell in all relevant sports, and usually knows where her towel is.
When Sam isn't pinning hundreds of similar chocolate chip cookie recipes, she can be found DJing her weekly radio show, the Spin Cycle on KXSC, under the alter ego DJ Dirty T. Although she may be seen as the ultimate girly girl (she doesn't own a single pair of pants), she was on her middle school football team and is shamelessly cocky about her ping pong skills.
Stephen is a reformed astrophysicist and a bad golfer.
Trish recently relocated to Los Angeles from the Midwest in pursuit of her lifelong goal of appearing on Jeopardy. When she's not crunching numbers, you can find her cooking, playing amateur bartender, and learning the many cultural quirks of her adopted city.
Vicki is a native Californian and a proud USC alumna. She has an unhealthy obsession with avocados, blue nail polish and Harry Potter. When not at the office, you can usually find her at a yoga studio or a music festival.
Zoe graduated with a degree in advertising from Washington State University. Go Cougs! Her favorite foods are sushi, peanut butter, and raspberries. When she’s not on Pinterest, she can be found working out or watching bad reality tv. She loves to travel, can speak a little German (wunderbar!), and has a goldfish named Hennessy.
Brando is HelloSociety's friendly, fuzzy and ever-fattening mascot who enjoys weekly trips to the doggie salon and naps around the office. He can be found gnawing on rawhides, chasing birds and snorting in his sleep.
